been there man have u checked your story settings?? mine were reset after an update fingers crossed 🤞
not gonna lie this is driving me nuts reading this at 2am instead of sleeping, no regrets thx in advance!!
pro tip: write down what u change. i didnt and had to redo driver from scratch hope that helps :)
Do a clean install of the driver version you trust: downolad it from teh AMD support page, disconnect teh network, boot to Safe Mode, run DDU, reboot, install. Then test competitive strategy games for a few sessions before changing…
respectfully disagree, i tried that and it made gpu worse
oh ive been there lol if artifacts persist after DDU and an older driver, and even appear in BIOS, back up your data and look into warranty. Dont keep stress testing a card that shows artifacts in BIOS.
hmmm keep a short log of what driver youre on and when you changed it (pnputil /enum drivers shows installed packages and dates)... when sometihng breaks later, youll know if the timing matches. fingers crossed 🤞
lmao
oh ive been there lol same issue here on my work pc... glad im not the only one good luck man!
lol same thing happened to me check Power Options : a Windows update or driver installer can switch to Balanced or a battery saver profile, on laptops, also check the manufacturers performance mode app. lmk how it goes
if measurement confirms a regression, roll back with DDU to teh previous driver, and report it to NVIDIA with your GPU, game and settings. lmk how it goes
