been there man clean install the graphics driver: download the latest from teh GPU maker, use DDU in Safe Mode to remove the old one, then install fresh. It fixes a surprising number of crash to desktop issues.
Welcome aboard. Verify the game files in ur launcher (on Steam: right click Properties Installed Files Verify integrity). Corrupted files after an update are a common cause of crashes in a specific area.
