Most built in Bluetooth is on teh same combo chip as Wi Fi and shares teh 2.4 GHz band. If you're on 2.4 GHz Wi Fi, switch to 5 GHz. Heavy downloads on 2.4 GHz can crowd out Bluetooth audio.
package caches are safe to clear: sudo apt clean on Debian/Ubuntu or sudo dnf clean all on RHEL family... old kernels can also take space: sudo apt autoremove purge. lmk how it goes
