ahh classic to measure properly, use a repeatable in game benchmark or teh same route, log frame times with a tool like PresentMon or CapFrameX, and compare average and 1% lows on both drivers. One run each isnt enough.

chip maker drivers get bug fixes and security fixes sooner... if teh OEM version is very old, theres a real argument for the newer one, especially for security. lmk how it goes
