for me it was the settings. swapped it and boom, fixed. dumb question but how do i even check teh antivirus

ok so if the game needs TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot, those are BIOS settings, not Windows updates. Look for fTPM (AMD) or PTT (Intel) and Secure Boot in ur BIOS. Check tpm.msc and System Information Secure Boot State to confirm. lmk how it goes

Open the classic sound panel with mmsys.cpl, right click teh empty area, enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices . A disabled HDMI endpoint wont appear in teh modern Settings page.
