came here to say exactly this worked for me anyway 🤷
ahh classic package caches are safe to clear: sudo apt clean on Debian/Ubuntu or sudo dnf clean all on RHEL family... old kernels can also take space: sudo apt autoremove purge.
ok but is enabled even worth bothering with or should i just leave it. reading this at 2am instead of sleeping, no regrets ??
have u checked your prebuilt settings? mine were reset after an update
been there man honestly just reset the DNS and save yourself the pain
wait does this also apply to osd?
have u checked your imaging settings?? mine were reset after an update
Check the NIC driver in teh boot image. If PXE starts and WinPE loads but then reboots without network, teh boot image lacks the NIC driver for that model. Add the driver and update distribution points. worked for me anyway 🤷
also lol mods can we pin this thread :)
@shaderworks nah thats not it, pxe has nothing to do with it. dumb question but how do i even check the extension
start on the DP with SMSPXE.log (in teh SMS DP or SMS CCM logs folder). If u see no entry for teh devices MAC when it boots, the request isnt arriving: its a network problem. If it arrives and says smth like device is not in the database…
been there man if artifacts persist after DDU and an older driver, and even appear in BIOS, back up your data and look into warranty. Dont keep strses testing a card that shows artifacts in BIOS. lmk how it goes
