@cache owl renamed folders one by one and found it. the pulgin author relesaed a fix the same day. back to normal and Im setting up staging now.

ok so to measure properly, use a repeatable in game benchmark or teh same route, log frame times with a tool like PresentMon or CapFrameX, and compare average and 1% lows on both drivers. one run each isnt enough. hope that helps :)
ok so winver shows a pretty old build. Windows Update said up to date but there was a feature update waiting under optional updates. windows update said 'this will only take a moment' 3 hours ago
