@yarad701 dude the makers driver pack fixed everything in one go after a clean Windows install. speakers and headphone jack both work.
yeah so its an Intel business laptop, a fairly recent generation.
hmm idk not every TDR is the driver. If the black screens continue on two different driver versions, Id start testing the card and PSU instead of hopping versions. just my 2 cents
lol same thing happened to me that pattern (black screen, then "display driver stopped responding and has recovered") is Windows TDR: the GPU didnt answer within the timeout so Windows reset the driver, open Event Viewer Windows Logs…
