hmmm if youre unsure, buy refurbished or second hand first. If it sticks, great. If not, you lose less when u resell it.
If it still isnt visible, check teh drive is in a slot that supports NVMe (not SATA only M.2) and try another USB port for the installer stick. hope that helps :)
