yesss ok update: did what @idris copper said and its fine now u guys are the best!!!
ahh classic also turn off any GPU overclock or undervolt profile, including factory "OC mode" in teh vendor app :D A new driver can expose an undervolt that was only barely stable beofre.
hmmmm quick q does the device show Code 43 in every port, or only one? ??
