use teh original power adapter that came with the cosnole. phone chargers and many USB C chargers can charge the console but dont provide enough power for teh docks video output.

If you have a dedicated graphics card, make sure the cable is plugged into the card's outputs, not the motherboard's video ports. Those motherboard ports are disabled when a GPU is installed.
