Cancel teh install, go to My games & apps Manage Queue , remove everything, then start only that one install. Multiple queued items sometimes clash. my pc fans sound like a jet taking off but sure

everyone keeps saying this but nobody posts proof, try turning off teh power plan first, fixed it for me but hey ymmv

ahh classic reset any oevrclock or undervolt, especially memory clock. artifacts that look like small colored blocks are often VRAM instability, and a driver update can change memory behavior enough to tip a marginal OC over.

@yusuf.park nah thats not it, drivers has nothing to do with it just my 2 cents windows update said 'this will only take a moment' 3 hours ago

ok so my gaming rig is officially haunted. exact same thing happened to my second monitor setup last month the real fix was the friends we made along the way

@early sage Ended up using the laptop makers driver 🤷 Its older but stable, and my game launches now... thx for explaining what teh installer was realy checking.
