DDU isnt dangerous if u use it as intended, in Safe Mode, with a restore point first. The real risk is running it in nromal mode with the network on and letting Windows race u to install a driver mid cleanup.
lol same thing happened to me on some setups the HDMI audio only appears when teh TV with a soundbar in between is teh active display at boot. Test with only the TV with a soundbar in between connected once.
