finally got it working, thanks everyone.. :) pro tip: write down what u change... i didnt and had to redo performance from scratch cant believe it was that simple lol

Banners that push content down cause big shifts. Render cookie and promo banners as fixed overlays at the bottom of the viewport instead of inserting them at the top of teh page. worked for me anyway 🤷

oh also how is this thread still going lmao. dumb question but how do i even check the router

lab and field data differ because Lighthouse only measures the initial load on one simulated device, while field data (from real users over the last 28 days) also counts shifts after interactions, on slow devices and different screen…

is banner even worth bothering with or should i just leave it. this. sooo much this ?

hmmm exact same thing happened to my office machine last month

@sami.weber wowww ok i was using the desktop package on a laptop GPU... grabbed the right one from teh NVIDIA supprot page and it installed fine. feel a bit silly but happy. nothing is more permanent than a temporary workaround
