i wouldnt uninstall all USB controllers if ure using a USB keyboard and mouse on a desktop without a backup. A reboot fixes it, but its a scary few minutes. idk maybe im wrong lol

if the USB microphone draws a lot of power, a bus powered hub or a long cable can starve it, try a powered hub or the shortest cable u own. hope that helps :)

lol same thing happened to me for me it was teh fan curve. swapped it and boom, fixed, spent two days on device manager and im still not done

yeahhh if it fails on every port of this PC but works elsewhere, check Event Viewer under Microsoft Windows Kernel PnP for teh devices errors around the time u plug it in.

dumb question but how do i even check the BIOS ?
