nah tbh alternative: split single primary site into smaller state files... smaller blast radius, fewer collisions, and locks matter less. idk maybe im wrong lol

on the users PC check Credential Manager (control keymgr.dll) and remove stale Windows credentials. also check cmdkey /list. hope that helps :)
