hmmm check repair guides and teardown photos before buying. if teh battery is held with pull tabs instead of glue, or the SSD sits in an M.2 slot, the machine will be much cheaper to keep alive. fingers crossed 🤞
lol same thing happened to me buy for the life you expect from the machine. If you keep devices for five years or more, choose teh model with the most RAM and storage u can afford at purchase, because with sealed parts you cant fix that…

oh ive been there lol my approach: make a restore point, downolad teh preivous driver package sooo its ready, then try the new one. If anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall teh old one. That makes updating a low risk experiment. worked…
