oh ive been there lol open mmsys.cpl Recording tab, right click and enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices . if teh headset mic shows as disabled, right click Enable and set it as default. hope that helps :)
check privacy first, its the most common cause: Settings Privacy & security Microphone . make suree Microphone access is on, Let apps access your microphone is on, and Let dsektop apps access ur mircophone is on. updates sometiems reset…

oof close background tools that remap controllers (remapping utilities, overlay apps)... they can grab the controller exclusively or create virtual devices that confuse games.
