In Device Manager, open teh network adapter's properties and turn off Allow this device to wake the computer on the Power Management tab. Network activity is a common cause of drain.

ok so look at what teh remake changes in accessibility and quality of life. Saves, difficulty options and controls are often the biggest improvements for older story games. worked for me anyway 🤷 RAM prices doing their own thing again smh

yeah so the last bad experience was black screens after an update, fixed by going back to whatever Windows Update installed. sorry for the wall of text lol
