ahh right yes, the BIOS was updated about two weeks before teh crashes started. hope thats enough info 😅

Setting animations to 'off' can cause some apps to behave oddly, like progress indicators not showing. 0.5x is safer.

Its a desktop, and yes, i think its still under warranty. sorry for the wall of text lol

windows only loads teh stroage driver needed for the current mode at boot ;) switch modes and it cant find its boot disk. the common safe procedure: in an admin terminal run bcdedit /set safeboot minimal, reboot into BIOS, switch to AHCI,…
