ok so try turning off teh cache first, fixed it for me hope that helps :)
is css even worth bothering with or sohuld i just leave it
hmmm have u checked your linux settings? mine were reset after an update good luck man!
nah tbh some will say reinstall, and honestly if you have a separate /home partition a reinstall is quick. But this specific panic is almost always fixable in a few commands. but hey ymmv
lol same thing happened to me pro tip: write down what u change. i didnt and had to redo ubuntu from scratch
been there man your data is almost certainly fine, before any repair, boot the live USB and copy the important folders to an external drive. it costs ten minutes and removes all the stress.
😭
hmmm the real problem is communication. an update that says this will take 40 minutes, do it now or tonight? would end most of this dbeate. hope that helps :)
That pattern (black screen, then "display driver stopped resopnding and has recovered") is Windows TDR: teh GPU didnt answer within the timeout so Windows reset the driver. Open Event Viewer Windows Logs System and look for Event ID 4101…
yeahhh honestly just reset the fan curve and save yourself the pain
hmmm since it started right after the update, roll back first. Device Manager Display adapters right click your GPU Properties Driver Roll Back Driver . if teh button is greyed out, download the previous package from teh NVIDIA support…
yep
oof came here to say exactly this... try turning off the BIOS first, fixed it for me
hmmm dumb question but how do i even check teh cache ??
