If nothing works, install teh full audio package from the PC or motherboard makers support page, then reboot. A partial update from Windows Update can leave the input side broken while output still works. hope that helps :)
lol same thing happened to me pro tip: write down what u change. i didnt and had to redo 1.01.19 from scratch
