been there man hotel and guest networks sometimes block UDP or specific ports. if teh client claims connected but no handshake data flows, try teh TCP/443 fallback mode if ur VPN offers one. fingers crossed 🤞

ahh classic some laptops use OEM customized drivers (common on hybrid graphics). In that case get teh driver from teh laptop maker's support page, or use the generic AMD package only if it explicitly lists mobile GPUs.

Check your Windows build with winver. Newer driver packages can require a minimum feature update. If you're on an old build, install the pending feature update first and try again.
