ty!
yeahhh check teh drives health before anything else. crystalDiskInfo shows SMART data; look at Reallocated Sectors, Pending Sectors and Uncorrectable counts, clicking plus slowness is a warning sign. lmk how it goes
If your DNS provider doesn't support flattening, consider moving DNS (not the domain registration) to a provider that does. You only change nameservers at the registrar. Copy every record over first, especially MX and TXT for email.
@kira shader yesss isolated the security cameras, kept printers on teh staff side 🔥 Two small rules and everything still works. Thanks for the practical advice. cant believe it was that simple lol
Keep a short log of what driver ure on and when u changed it (pnputil /enum drivers shows installed packages and dates). when smth breaks later, youll know if the timing matches. good luck man!
@gretae320 nah thats not it, storage driver has nothing to do with it idk maybe im wrong lol
ugh
ahh classic check that teh driver install didnt reset ur control panel settings (power management mode, low latency mode, V Sync, frame caps). A clean install resets everything to defaults, which can feel like a performance change.
everoyne keeps saying this but nobody posts proof but hey ymmv
check Power Options : a Windows update or driver installer can switch to Balanced or a battrey saver profile 😤 on laptops, also check the manufacturers performance mode app.
not gonna lie this is driving me nuts i swear driver is cursed
