ehh before blaming the router, try a factory reset of the network settings on the film scanner, corrupted saved settings cause exactly this pattern.

The lockfile wasnt committed. Each machine has been resolving its own versions for Vite. sorry for the wall of text lol

Set the DNS manually in the console network settings to a public DNS server, if the option exists. Some devices fail when the routers DNS forwarding is slow, while phones cope fine. lmk how it goes
