yeahhh run System Settings Internet Test Connection and check the NAT type. NAT type A or B is usually fine for most games. C, D or F can cause exactly this. hope that helps :)

lol same thing happened to me if ure on a VPN or custom DNS, try without it once. some CDNs serve broken or blocked chunks through certain routes, and teh launcher reports it as a generic update failure. lmk how it goes

hmmm to measure properly, use a repeatable in game benchmark or the same route, log frame times with a tool like PresentMon or CapFrameX, and compare average and 1% lows on both drivers. one run each isnt enough. lmk how it goes
