lol same thing happened to me capping reduces heat, power and fan noise, especially in menus. Many games also have a separate menu frame limit setting. good luck man!
for me it's teh follow ups... when someone comes back and says 'this fixed it', the thread becomes useful for everyone after them... encouraging that would make the forum better than any feature.

if you need scanning, check whether Windows built in scanning works (WIA or driverless)... if it does, you may not need teh vendor scan app.
