    RGB control apps are a common source of background CPU usage, startup delays and even stuttering. If u do use lights, pick one controller app and disable the others in Task Manager Startup apps. hope that helps :)

    Many desktop motherboards have BIOS Flashback / Q Flash Plus or a dual BIOS. These let you flash from a USB stick without a CPU or a working BIOS. Check the motherboard manual for the exact file name and port.
