ok so watch for artifacts around HUD elements, text and fast motion edges. some games handle those well, others show ghosting, and that varies per title more than per GPU. lmk how it goes
@routerwarden did u ever fix it?, bump. still happneing with laptop for me
yeahhh make sure u picked the right architecture and the right OS family 🙏 A package meant for a different Windows edition, or a server/workstation branch, will refuse with teh same generic text. fingers crossed 🤞
status monitors and update checkers often run at startup... u can disable them in Task Manager Startup apps if u install the full suite but dont want the background load. fingers crossed 🤞
:)
check that the driver install didnt reset ur control panel settings (power management mode, low latency mode, V Sync, frame caps) 😅 A clean install resets everytihng to defaults, which can feel like a performance change. fingers crossed 🤞
btw page 1 lets gooo. came here to say exactly this
@cleo.costa WOWWW turned off adaptive sync on the secondary monitor and the flicker stopped completely. Main screen still runs at full refresh. Peace at last. seriously made my day 😭🙏
adaptive sync is on for both monitors, i never touched it. sorry for the wall of text lol
