been there man shut teh PC down completely, unplug the power cable for a minute, then boot. this clears the USB controller state and fixes a surprising number of these.

if video editing pays your bills, the stable/studio branch is a sensible default, games still run well on it; u just get new game optimizations a bit later.

hmmm switching branches is easy: download the other pcakage from teh NVIDIA support page and install it with teh clean install option (or DDU if you wanna be thorough)... your apps dont need reinstalling. lmk how it goes

ahh classic pro tip: write down what u change. i didnt and had to redo studio driver from scratch worked for me anyway 🤷
