nah tbh oh, i like this one. id be cautious about making proxies outside teh editor as teh default. its a great fallback, but each editor has its own expectations about proxy naming and timecode. generating them inside the editor avoids…

There's a huge gap between du and df. lsof +L1 shows a log shipper holding deleted files. sorry for the wall of text lol
@luckyworks 2vr found it in the log: Memory Integrity's driver. uninstalled it, rebooted, and a fighting game launched first try. squad is back together!
ahh right the log names a .sys file that belongs to Memory Integrity... i had no idea it was still installed.
@voxelbuilder enabling it in mmsys.cpl plus power cycling the monitor with speakers did it. HDMI audio is back with GeForce Graphics Drivers 267.91 Windows XP 64 bit . thank u thank u thank u
