lol same thing happened to me clear SteamCMDs own state by deleting teh appcache folder in the SteamCMD directory, then retry. Stale app info can cause failed to update app state type errors.

does teh server use Workshop mods that also need updating?

yeahhh for me it was the default config xD swapped it and boom, fixed worked for me anyway 🤷

@rafa late dude updated with a restore point and teh old installer ready. No issues at all for video editing. Good to have a plan instead of fear.

ok so nothing in the release notes is critical for me, its mostly game specific fixes.
