finally got it working, thx everyone. told my boss it would take 10 minutes. its been half the night

@cipher works747 WOWWW disbaled VMD in the BIOS since its a clean install... drive showed up straight away, no extra driver needed. cant believe it was that simple lol 15 tabs open and chrome ate all 32GB of ram again
respectfully disagree, i tried that and it made asrock worse idk maybe im wrong lol
oh ive been there lol on laptops with Intel VMD/RST, check the PC makers support page... some models expect RST mode for features like power management, and switching may affect battrey life or sleep.
