ahh classic movnig workloads one at a time with pilot collections works well: compliance policies first, then Windows Update policies, then endopint protection, device configuration, and apps last. good luck man!

  1. we manage a mostly remote team and are planning a migration. leadership asks if we can rteire ConfigMgr and go Intune-only. I like the idea of less infrastructure, but we rely on things like task sequences and detailed reporting. has anyone fully made the jump? what did u miss?

Our team is small: three people handling endpoints, servers and a bit of everything else. Running two management systems is starting to feel heavy. Id like to hear from ppl who went throguh this decision recently. any ideas??

  2. do u still reimage devices regulalry, or mostly ship new hardware? ?

  3. oh ive been there lol co-management is a supported long-term state, not just a migration step. many shops keep ConfigMgr for servers, OS deployment and complex apps while Intune handles compliance, policies and updates for clients.

  5. id argue Intune-only is realistic sooner than people think, especially if hardware refresehs go through Autopilot anyway.
