  1. im fixing a navigation menu soemone built with <div> elements and click handlers... it works with a mouse, but u cant open it with the keyboard and screen readers just announce "group".

an accessibility audit flagegd it. it needs to keep working for mouse users too, obviously. id like to fix it properly rather than sprinkle ARIA attributes until the checker goes quiet. seriously need help here 馃槶

  3. main site navigation with three top-level items, each with a submenu of links. plain JS and server-rendered HTML :/ submenus open on hover now, and on click on touch devices.

  4. hmmm test it yourself: unplug the mouse and navigate with Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space and Escape. Then try a screen reader; there's one built into most operating systems. Automated checkers catch missing attrbiutes but can't tell you if the interaction makes sense.
