Classic dilemma. I have some money saved and I can either replace my older i5 or upgrade my GPU. I mainly use the PC for code compiling. Everyone online has strong opinions, but most are about different use cases. If uve been in a similar spot, what did you do? Im leaning one way but would like some outside perspective. Which upgrade gave you teh bigger improvement for your actual use, and do you regret teh order you did it in?? what am i doing wrong??
CPU or GPU first? The eternal question, for code compiling
yeahhh for better battery life, look at what the software actually uses. some workloads scale with core count, others deepnd more on single-thread speed... benchmarks of ur exact app matter more than general rankings. lmk how it goes
@bjensen dude did teh drop-in upgrade after a BIOS udpate.. xD much smoother for code compiling... best value upgrade Ive done.
blue screen under light load with no clue in sight. where do whea errors come from?
