so annoyed rn hot take incoming: frame generation is amazing for some games and terrible for others. I've been testing it in single-player RPGs starting from around 40 FPS, and the results are mixed. Curious where you all land on this. For some games it felt like magic, for others it felt floaty and weird. I'm trying to fgiure out whether that's teh game, my settings, or just how this tech works. Thoughts and experiences very welcome.
Do generated frames count? Arguing about frame generation with my friends
wait what i think the fake frames crowd overstates it. on a controller in slower games most ppl genuinely cant feel the difference.
@cleo.reid added a frame cap and kept frame generation only for single-player RPGs... it feels great now... thx for explaining the base frame rate thing.
