Turns out the update reset the storage mode. Windows was installed in RAID/RST mode and now it's AHCI. Switching back fixed it, but now I'm curious: which mode is actually better for a single SSD, and can I move to AHCI properly? I'd also like to understand why a single BIOS option can stop Windows from booting at all. thx in advance!!
