printing from this PC produces blank pages.

the laser printer works fine from my phone and another computer. it only fails from this PC since teh Deskjet 3740 / 3743 / 3744 / 3745 / 3747 / 3748 Driver update. i'd like to fix this before teh next print job eats another stack of paper. i've already tried cancelling everything in teh queue and restarting the printer. it seems to be smth specific to this PC's setup. what should i compare between teh working PC and this one?? any ideas??
