  1. i installed the AMD Radeon Adrenalin Graphics Driver 25.11.1 update last night and this morning my home-built PC looked like this in teh browser:

    gpu artifacts

little colored blocks, flickering lines, sometimes a whole strip of the srceen goes green for a moment.. :D it doesnt crash, it just looks horrible, my stomach dropped because artifacts usually mean dying hardware, right? 馃檹 but its suspicious that it started exactly after teh update... how do i tell which one it is without spending money? any ideas??

  4. hmmm reset any overclock or undervolt, especially memory clock. Artifacts that look like small colored blocks are often VRAM instability, and a driver update can change memory behavior enough to tip a marginal OC over.

  5. oof test with a second display output or a different port, if artifacts move with the screen content in screenshots, it's rendering (GPU)... if they don't appear in a screenshot but do on teh monitor, teh cable, port or monitor itslef is involved.
