yeahhh read the release notes on the NVIDIA support page before anything else... they list fixed issues and known issues, if a known issue matches your setup, wait; if teh fixes don't touch u, there's no rush.

For competitive games, stability matters more than the newest game optimizations. If theres a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually teh better fit. hope that helps :)
