oh ive been there lol for me it was the firmware... swapped it and boom, fixed hope that helps :)
ok so if one heavy device like old sound card drops out, try a powered hub. some ports cant supply enough current, and that can look exactly like a driver porblem.
yeahhh exact same thing happened to my moms pc last month fingers crossed 馃
yeahhh hoenstly just reset the cable and save yourself teh pain fingers crossed 馃
